I swore I wouldn’t buy another piece from Adina’s after the huggies I purchased lost a CZ within days of wearing of them, but the sale price on this item pulled me in. I wanted a similar piece from another brand, but it was and is still sold out. Well this one came with a sticky clasp. (Why don’t I ever learn?!) This necklace is more dainty than I was expecting (I hate that they don’t show their pieces being worn) and the coin is very lightweight. Also, this is supposed to be vermeil. Vermeil is required to have 2.5 microns of gold plating over silver to be labeled vermeil and considering that the silver began to show through on back of the coin the very first day of wear (no joke), I highly doubt the coin is vermeil. The chain might be however. Having said all of this I still like the piece and will wear it happily until it poops out. Just know what you’re buying and you’ll be satisfied!
